Founded in 1949, Truma Gerätetechnik GmbH & Co KG has built up an excellent worldwide reputation in the caravan and motor home market. The company's headquarters are located in Putzbrunn, near Munich.
The company's headquarters, the so-called "Rundbau" (round building), was built in the 1980s and was therefore no longer state of the art. However, the building should be preserved and renovated according to the latest standards, not least as a tribute to the company's founder, Philipp Kreis (Kreis = circle/round).
The close cooperation between the VARICOR® top transformer Josef Eibl GmbH, the planning office Gabriela Raible Innenarchitektur and the executing architects Wurfbaum and Niggl resulted in very special VARICOR® solutions, which can be seen throughout the building.
In addition to the backlit reception desk with the company logo, another highlight is the washrooms: curved sanitary tops take the architectural characteristics into account and literally melt into the room.
