A surprisingly fun and comfortable toilet break for everyone, every time

The Dutch company 2theloo operates well over 175 public toilets in 8 countries, with a dominance at petrol or motorway stations along the highway, at railway stations across Europe, as well as at iconic tourist destinations like the Notre Dame & the Louvre in Paris and London’s Covent Garden, amongst others.

What started out as an idea on a holiday trip has resulted in becoming the market leader in this sector. The success story was triggered by the fact that even in large cities and at busy rest stops there is often no clean toilet to be found.

And that is exactly what 2theloo has set out to do, namely, to offer a comfortable, but above all a surprisingly fun toilet break for everyone, every time. The company is dedicated to creating spaces that prioritize the human aspect, making the toilet break enjoyable and accessible to all.

From the very beginning, the co-operation between 2theloo and VARICOR GmbH was based on partnership and closely working together in the design phase. The result is something to be proud of. Gently curved washbasins in elegant white with integrated waste chute for paper towels and recessed mirror.

Contrary to what one might expect, these are not glued together from sheet material but cast in two parts: a lower part with a basin, integrated paper tray and gently sloping apron, and the upper part with the opening for the mirror element.

Threaded bushes, which simplify the final connection to the substructure, are inserted into the VARICOR® elements before delivery. In addition, the colour-contrasting symbols for the soap dispenser and the paper towels are integrated seamlessly and permanently directly into the material using Colorline.

Both partners share the goal of creating places with 2theloo's toilet facilities where people feel good – and they do!
