On the heights of the town of Torbole in Trentino, there is a holiday home with a breathtaking view over Lake Garda.
The two floors of the house are connected by a white staircase.
The interior design was planned by Alessandro Nadalini, the implementation was entrusted to Thomaseth, a staircase manufacturer that has been using VARICOR® as a material for the construction of high-quality staircases for many years.
The result is impressive: In the lower part of the house, a cantilevered staircase was created, made without railings and ending with a floating landing. From there, a folded staircase is accessed, which rests on a concrete structure. The seamless folded structure gives the impression of a folded white ribbon.
All visible elements are made of VARICOR®. This material has a very comfortable feel, is pleasant for bare feet, is non-slip and, as a homogeneous and solid material, is very resistant.
